How to Use Sakura Chart

Create a chart from CSV or TSV data in a few steps

1. Prepare Your Data

Copy a table from Excel or a spreadsheet, or prepare CSV or TSV data. The first row should contain column names.

x,y,LEVEL
1,2,A
2,4,A
3,1,B
4,3,B

LEVEL is optional. Use it when you want to color or split the chart by group.

2. Paste the Table

  1. Open the Sakura Chart home page.
  2. Paste the copied table into the CSV / TSV input area.
  3. Select Continue to preview.

3. Choose the Chart Settings

Select a chart type and the columns used for the axes.

  • Scatter: relationships and variation between two variables
  • Line: changes over time or an ordered sequence
  • Bar: comparisons between categories
  • Box plot: distributions, spread, and outliers
  • Pie: proportions of a whole
  • Histogram: the shape of a numeric distribution

You can also adjust the axis range, grid, legend, colors, labels, image size, and chart-specific options.

4. Create and Save the Chart

Select Create chart after completing the settings. From the result panel, download a PNG image, a ZIP of all images, an Excel workbook, or a PowerPoint deck. Multiple charts are stacked on one Excel worksheet and placed on separate PowerPoint slides.

5. Tips

  • Check that numeric columns do not contain unexpected text.
  • Use the same axis range when you need to compare several charts fairly.
  • Use a LEVEL column to separate groups without preparing several files.
  • Review important calculations independently before using them for investment, medical, or safety decisions.
